Jordan Skands

Managing Partner
Jordan has a passion for the law that started at a young age when his father and the founder of the firm, Erling H. Skands, taught him how the law can assist the disadvantaged. Jordan continues that tradition through his litigation practice by advocating for the underdog against litigious bullies, large corporations, overreaching cities, scoundrels and cads. Jordan also has a robust solicitor’s practice in wills and estates, real estate, and corporate transactions. When not at work, he can be found travelling, walking his dogs, or working on his golf swing.

Managing Partner
Alethea is a dedicated member of the Law Society of British Columbia and Trial Lawyers of British Columbia, bringing 16 years of personal injury law experience to her practice. Alethea has successfully represented clients at both the Provincial and Supreme Court level. Known for her ability to negotiate favourable outcomes for her clients, Alethea often resolves cases without the need for trial.
Alethea is excited to transition into family law, eager to embrace the challenges and rewards this new focus brings. Before becoming a lawyer, she worked with the Ministry of Child and Family Development, supporting foster parents—a role that deeply influenced her compassionate approach to legal practice.
Alethea lives in Surrey, BC, with her husband, Jordan Skands. They have two adult children and are delighted to be new grandparents. When not spending time with their grandson and family, Alethea and Jordan enjoy walks with their dogs and visiting extended family on Vancouver Island.
